Dr. Gerda Cammaer is Associate Professor at Ryerson University (Toronto). Her work includes art videos and short essay films, of which several explore the particular aesthetic of mobile cinema and themes such as the environment, landscape, travel, mobility and new geographies. She is the co-director of the Documentary Media Research Centre (DMRC).
