Gail Vanstone Associate Professor | York University

Gail Vanstone is an associate professor, York University, Toronto. Her D is Daring (2007) is a study of the National Film Board’s Studio D, the feminist film unit. She is co-author with Brian Winston and Wang Chi of The Act of Documenting (Bloomsbury, 2017). She is currently researching the work of Indigenous women filmmakers in Canada.
