Duncan Speakman Artist
Since 2005, Duncan Speakman (UK 1976) he has focused on mobile audio and locative media, creating socially relevant experiences that engage audiences emotionally and physically in uncontrolled spaces. Recently he has developed a number of hybrid print and audio experiences such as It Must Have Been Dark By Then. He is currently a PhD candidate within the 3D3 programme, researching compositional approaches to mobile sound led experiences, and what these might offer to contemporary ecological debate.
