Aashish Kumar is a New York based educator and non-fiction media-maker who writes and produces independent and commissioned films and teaches documentary, interactive/immersive media, and television studies. He is an Associate Professor in the Radio/TV/Film Department at Hofstra University and the Co-Director of the Center for Civic Engagement.
