Wayne Medford is a postdoctoral researcher interested in ethnography, phenomenology, therapeutic spaces, and cultural geographies. His PhD looked at the everyday therapeutic qualities found in Saltwell Park, in Gateshead, Tyne & Wear. Empirical data was gathered through a unique ethnographic methodology, leading towards a polyvocal “deep map”.
